Est-il important pour les investisseurs d’avoir un rapport de due dil financière d’un cabinet reconnu (type Big 4, Eight ou autre) ?

Its depends on the investors : for sure, some will be reassured by a Big 4 stamp. It may also be useful to convince banks.

The Big 4 are :

A cheaper, yet qualitative, alternative : Oderis

If you prefer Big 4, it should be cheaper to ask a regional office rather than Paris’ Headquarter.
In addition to their “valuable” brand, Big 4 may provide a great advantage : they are able to take care of every aspects of the due dills (accounting, financials, tax, social, legal…), making the project management job much more easier.

In any case, it is important to be very clear regarding the expected deliverables (probably in English – don’t forget to mention it!)

As an indication, due dilligences covering the whole scope are roughtly about 50 to 60K€. But it will obviously depend on your precise target’s complexity and the firm(s) you chose to audit it.

As for the legal aspect, it seems there is no problem having a provider managing the Due Dillgence, and your usual law firm (like Spark) taking care of the rest.
